Abstract
Purpose The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of an augmented realitybased intervention program for people with developmental disabilities.

Methods This study was conducted on 12 people with developmental disabilities between the ages of 8 and 20. Cognitive ability evaluation was conducted using Computer Senior Assessment SystemScreen, and physical ability evaluation and intervention program were conducted using augmented realitybased rehabilitation device. The combined intervention exercise program consisted of 15 minutes per session, for a total of 2 sets.

Results After the application of the augmented realitybased intervention program we observed significant improvements in balance, flexibility, muscle strength, and muscular endurance (p<.05).

Conclusion The findings of this pilot study revealed the effectiveness of the augmented realitybased intervention program in physical ability. Therefore, there is a possibility that the augmented realitybased intervention program can be applied to a large population with developmental disabilities.
